In 2022, PaintBox Labs became a strategic partner and investor in Kinetic Chain Labs with co-founders Chris Surrey, Matt Shih, Phu Thien NGO, and Phuoc Dai John Nguyen.
One of the many innovative projects that our tech development team worked on was an AI image generator storyflow around an animated TV series concept called “Doji on the Hill”, created by Branden Thompson and Chris Surrey.
The name Think Diffusion was conceived by co-founder Chris Surrey who wanted to develop an AI filmmaking studio + AI art generator tool that could be a transformative creative hub for storytelling and producing distinct forms of ‘art’. The inspiration for the name came from the famous Apple “Think Different” campaign that ran 1997– 2002, supporting new product launches that solidified the company’s reputation for innovation and disruption.
